Number 66 – C.J. McCollum, SG, Jr., Lehigh

If you talk to the high school basketball mavens in Ohio, no one really saw this coming with McCollum. Now, they knew he would be good. But great? And this great this early and this often? Oh, please.

Sure, you can argue that scoring 20 points a game in the Patriot League shouldn’t warrant this high of a listing but McCollum’s game is far more than just scoring.

McCollum is the ultimate fantasy basketball player. At 6-foot-3, he’s one of the best rebounders in the Patriot League. He’s also one of the best scorers in the nation. Throw him in the best defenders in America category, too. McCollum is one of the best statistical players in all of college basketball.

Lehigh was a game above .500 last year. That has to change. As a freshman, he helped lead Lehigh to the NCAA tournament.

A trip back to The Dance would certainly justify his spot on the list.

2010-2011 STATS: 21.8 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 2.1 apg, 2.5 spg, 2.8 TO, 39.9% FG, 31.5% 3 pt
