I must admit. I have a thing for short guys doing crazy dunks. Jamal Fenton of New Mexico blew our minds with his head-over-heels-to-dunk last weekend. Watch it. Admit it, you were impressed.

Then comes Reggie Smith.

The little fella flew through the hot, desert air for this one. (Hey, he’s 5-foot-9. You can call him little fella.) Smith, a Marquette transfer, will finally be able to play with the Rebels. In fact, the first game he’ll be back playing is against his friends at Illinois. Smith, a Chicago kid, will be back on the court in a big way at the United Center. Not a bad entrance. Maybe he’ll have some surprises up his sleeves like this acrobatic dunk.

“This is the first time I’ve been out this long in my whole life,” Smith told Ryan Greene of the Las Vegas Sun back in March. “For me, being out for this whole year is really tough, but especially for this game. But I guess God blessed me with the chance to play them for my first game back next year.

“It should be fun.”

Looks like he’s having fun, alright.
