Number 46 – Reggie Hamilton, PG, Sr., Oakland

It pays to be a footer. Or at least a near footer. As in 7-footer. You see, Keith Benson was a player that probably received more credit than he actually deserved for Oakland’s success. And he was good, don’t get me wrong.

But the gas in the engine was also contributed to Hamilton. Benson looked like a NBA draft pick because Hamilton in the backcourt.

On the flip side, now that Benson is gone it is up to Hamilton to take advantage of a new role. The 5-foot-11 point guard is a tough, tough match-up because of his speed and strength to the cup. Can he diversify his game well enough to keep Oakland in the mix?

Hamilton had off-season surgery, which could slow him down to start the season.

If you are looking for a mid-major sleeper – he’s on your team.

2010-2011 STATS: 17.6 ppg, 5.3 apg, 2.5 rpg, 1.3 spg, 48.9% FG, 37.1% 3PT
