Number 43 – Damian Lillard, PG, Jr., Weber State

Nine games into the season last year, Lillard was on pace to be one of the best guards in college basketball then he fell to injury in a game against Tulsa and things went quiet.

Lillard was shelved and the college basketball kind of forgot about him. We should remember him. Lillard is one of the premiere point guards in the country. We’ve seen guards from Utah schools capture the nation’s attention before.

The Oakland native has undeniable star power and nearly a year’s worth of wait time to come out and prove himself on the national stage. If you want to watch one game this year of Lillard, it is Dec. 16 when Lillard returns home to play at Cal.

If I was smart enough to have an All-American mid-major team, Lillard would certainly have a spot on the roster.

2010-2011 STATS: 17.7 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 3.3 apg, 1.4 spg, 2.8 TO, 34.5% 3PT
