With four games going on at all times inside one building, the EYBL Finals at the Nike Peach Jam is a dream come true for college basketball coaches, fans, and would be talent evaluators everywhere.  The only unfortunate part is the inability for any one person to see every player an equal amount of time.  Given that constraint, a starting five must be picked, no matter how difficult it may be to leave off certain players.  Without further adieu, here we go: Continue reading

While the U19 team struggled in game one of the World Championships, the U16 team swept the competition in Cancun last week.

The competition didn’t come close to the Americans and the kids from the States didn’t let any team closer than 20 points. Continue reading

#Dunkage: Jabari Parker

13 May

Do you know the name Jabari Parker? Apparently you should. He is the newly crowned No. 1 player in the class of 2013. The 6-foot-7 forward from Chicago (Ill.) Chicago sits atop the freshest rankings from Scout.com.

From what I have seen (and only from tape), I like Aaron Gordon from California (MUST WATCH HIGHLIGHTS). He’s a cut above the rest when it comes to athleticism. Being 6-foot-7 is what probably has him slotted at No. 6 overall. From a long term perspective, Nerlens Noel could be the No. 1 guy a year from now. He’s 6-foot-10, from Everett (Mass.) High School and was great this spring, according to the .com analysts.

Still plenty of time for these young guys to play it out. Until then, enjoy Parker ruining a poor tall kid’s weekend in Fort Wayne, Indiana from last week.
