Jones-ing for scholarships

Torren Jones is no dummy. The 6-foot-7 pogo stick from Chandler (Ariz.) Basha High School knows what July is all about.

“It is scholarship time,” Jones said. “If you are a junior, it is that time where you earn those scholarships. It’s time to go get them.”

Ranking the ACC/Big Ten Challenge games

The ACC-Big Ten Challenge was last month and truth be told, the match-ups are not the most enticing as they have been in year’s past.

The talent in the middle isn’t as a strong as it has been for both conferences. Because of that, the overall challenge doesn’t jump out as a must-see series.
