Restocking the Pac-12 shelves

Is Cal's Allen Crabbe the top returning player in the Pac-12 next year?

The Pac-12 was better than the country realized this season. Next year? Not so much.

No other Big Six conference was hit as hard by departures quite like the Pac-12. Gone are six the top seven scorers. Nine of the top 10 rebounders are out of here, too. All five of the leading shot-blockers from last season won’t be back and half of the top 10 assist leaders are out of here.

Derrick Williams could be the number one pick, leaving Arizona without their star. Washington State lost its top two players in Klay Thompson and DeAngelo Casto. Washington lost its emotional leader in Isaiah Thomas. Nikola Vucevic, the heart and soul of USC, is gone. UCLA was hit hard by the departures of Malcolm Lee and Tyler Honeycutt. Colorado will enter the Pac-12 without its best player as Alec Burk is going pro and signing an agent.
