Jordan Bell isn’t a big fan of basketballs. The way he was blocking shots on Saturday morning during the 8 a.m. game at the Rose City Showcase, you could see his distaste for the round ball.

Bell was flying around, blocking shots, altering their path and changing the way the opposition was playing. It was an impressive showing from the 6-foot-7 forward from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly. Not bad for an 8 a.m. game on a grey day in the Pacific Northwest. Continue reading

Catching up with Landon Lucas

Landon Lucas has a number of scholarship offers from high-major schools.

Landen Lucas is one of the top post players in the class of 2012 and the major programs are taking notice.

Lucas is a bit of a throwback center in the fact that he loves to bang down low and has a wide array of post moves. The rising senior from Findlay Prep (Nev.) is a physical big who can block shots and has a high basketball I.Q. as well.
